Item 8.01. Other Events.

On September 26, 2019, SAExploration Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing a new shallow–water ocean–bottom marine project award in the Asia Pacific region for a major national oil company valued at approximately $28 million. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference into this Form 8–K.
