Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On October 2-3, 2019, Brian Bird, chief financial officer, and Travis Meyer, director corporate finance and investor relations officer, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NYSE: NWE) (the “Company”) will be in Kansas City, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Cleveland conducting one-on-one meetings with existing and potential investors. During these meetings, they will be providing certain information concerning the Company in a slide presentation.

A copy of the slide presentation is being furnished pursuant to Regulation FD as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
