Siemens AG (SIE.XE) said Thursday that it will supply components for the Yerevan 2 combined-cycle power plant in Armenia.

The German industrial conglomerate will supply a grouping of core units including turbines, generators and the control system, known as the power island.

Siemens will also provide financing via a 40% equity stake in the project company, and will operate and maintain the plant for 20 years, it said.
