First Citizens Bank Completes Operational Conversion of Palmetto Heritage Bank Division
May 20 2019 - 11:15AM
First Citizens Bank announced that its Palmetto Heritage Bank
division based in Pawleys Island, S.C., has completed its
conversion to First Citizens’ operations and systems. This
conversion puts both banks on the same operational and technical
systems, and aligns customer accounts to First Citizens products
and services.
“Now that this conversion is complete, these customers will
enjoy our full range of products and services,” said Frank B.
Holding Jr., chairman and CEO of First Citizens Bank. “We have an
extensive and proud history in South Carolina, and we're excited
about continuing to serve the people and businesses of these
coastal communities and building on our strong foundation in the
market.”
Customers can conduct banking services at any location in First
Citizens’ 19-state branch network, through First Citizens Digital
Banking (online and mobile), by ATM and by telephone. Information
detailing the conversion and transition to First Citizens Bank was
mailed to Palmetto Heritage customers in April.
The conversion includes all of the former Palmetto Heritage
division accounts. The former Palmetto Heritage branches in Pawleys
Island and Murrells Inlet now feature First Citizens Bank signage.
As part of the conversion, the former Palmetto Heritage Mount
Pleasant branch at 3102 Highway 17 North consolidated into the
First Citizens branch located at 2676 Highway 17 North, and the
First Citizens Pawleys Island branch at 11022 Ocean Highway
consolidated into the former Palmetto Heritage branch across the
street at 10919 Ocean Highway.
