Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On March 20, 2019, Pier 1 Imports, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing an organizational redesign of its corporate workforce, and that the Company will report financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 2, 2019, after market close on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, followed by a conference call to discuss the results at 4:00 p.m. Central Time/5:00 p.m. Eastern Time that same day. A copy of this press release is included with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
