today announced the opening of its newest branch in Brooklyn in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, located on 1298
Fulton Street. To commemorate the new location, Santander leaders
joined community partners at a grand opening celebration and ribbon
cutting on Friday, Dec. 14 to
officially open the branch. Santander presented checks totaling
$26,000 to three community
organizations – Brooklyn
Neighborhood Services, Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation
and New York Crusaders.

local residents and business owners with their banking needs," said

and this location features our new modern design that encourages
engaging, consultative customer interactions in a comfortable
setting."
The new branch offers a welcoming environment with innovative
features designed to improve the customer experience. There are
several meeting spaces for customers to interact with the branch
team, including a meeting "nook" where they can meet privately with
bankers to discuss their financial needs. The 24-hour ATM vestibule
is available to customers after branch hours.
Santander is donating $10,000 to
Brooklyn Neighborhood Services to
support its First Time Home Ownership program that provides
comprehensive workshops and resources to low and middle income
residents to assist with purchasing their first home.
To assist Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation with its
financial stability program, Santander is donating $15,000, which will provide workforce development
training, asset building and social support services that
facilitate economic self-sufficiency and upward mobility.
New York Crusaders is receiving $1,000 from Santander to help families throughout
Bedford-Stuyvesant and greater New York City obtain access to free health and
fitness resources.
