More than 200 employees in Texas and Arkansas will clean headstones and lay flags at four Veterans Cemeteries on November 7th, in preparation for the many family and visitors that will walk the grounds this weekend. This is the region's fourth year to host such events in central Texas, and the team is excited to expand their volunteerism to more locations this year.

"The 2017 Volunteer Event at the DFW National Cemetery honored almost 7,000 fallen heroes," recalls John Stevens, Sprint South Region President. "We look forward to nearly quadrupling our salute this week. This effort is extremely personal to many of our partners whose lives and families have been touched by the sacrifices made."

Sprint's commitment to active military, veterans and families is evident in the company's many accolades including being named a "Top 50 Military-Friendly Employer" by G.I. Jobs magazine and a "Most Valuable Employer for Military" by CivilianJobs.com. "We are proud to honor these heroes not just as we recognize Veteran's Day, but throughout the year with our military discounts, recruitment outreach and support of our employees who serve and are called to active-duty," says Stevens.

And, now through Nov. 12, for every tweet using #SprintSalutesVeterans, Sprint will make a $5 donation (up to $100,000) to the Fisher House Foundation, who provide free, temporary housing for military families while a loved one is in the hospital.

Photos and quotes by local Sprint representatives will be available onsite.

Events will occur November 7, 2018 from 8:30-4:00 at the following locations:

2523 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72206
