Cyber experts from federal civilian, defense,
intelligence and state/local agencies to discuss the need to
redefine how government approaches security
With the recent release of the National Cyber Strategy, the
issue of security remains near the top of the administration’s
agenda. Delivering against four distinct pillars, the National
Cyber Strategy provides a path forward to secure networks,
information and critical infrastructure, while promoting
prosperity, preserving peace and advancing America’s influence.
On October 30, cyber security leaders from federal, state and
local agencies will convene in Washington DC at the Symantec
Government Symposium to engage in interactive discussions about the
need to redefine how government approaches cyber security. Sessions
will focus on topics such as ransomware, integrated cyber defenses,
modernization, cloud, IoT, election security, threat isolation, the
cyber workforce of the future and the Continuous Diagnostics and
Mitigation (CDM) program.
