ALLDATA Launching New Features at Automechanika 2018
ALLDATA Europe GmbH, an affiliate of ALLDATA LLC, an AutoZone
company, will showcase its latest features in ALLDATA Repair® at
Automechanika 2018 in Frankfurt.
The new enhancements are being introduced as the company
continues to aggressively publish new content in ALLDATA Repair,
reflecting ALLDATA’s ongoing commitment to provide the most
in-depth OEM diagnostic and repair solution to complete jobs
including the most complex vehicle technologies. Since
Automechanika 2016, ALLDATA has added over 400 models and 13
million articles including 2019 models, and currently has more than
850 models and 37 million articles.
VIN searchALLDATA has partnered with an
industry leader to provide VIN search so technicians can quickly
navigate to the exact information they need to repair the vehicle.
VIN search will be introduced in phases, with the first iteration
at Automechanika, enabling VIN decoding where for some models, the
technician will select the engine code.
Vehicle search and selectionNew enhancements
include a search functionality where technicians can type in the
vehicle information and the results automatically populate. Also
featured is the addition of drop-down menus for platform and Year,
Make, Model, Engine (YMME) and the ability to navigate between YMME
and the Repair platform without changing the profile, making it
more efficient and user friendly.
ALLDATA is working on future application enhancements including
the ability to store recent vehicles and synonym search. The
company is also speaking with several manufacturers and expects to
add additional brands over the next year.
“We are at a pivotal point of growth serving more than 6,000
customers in Europe. We have key partners throughout Europe
including our core markets, Germany and the United Kingdom, and
ALLDATA has attracted attention of other leading players including
those in the body repair space, which is largely underserved with
OEM information across Europe,” said Kevin F. Culmo, Managing
Director ALLDATA Europe GmbH and Group Vice President, ALLDATA LLC.
“We have a unique opportunity now to capture customer and market
feedback as we make investments in the product to meet market
demands.”
“Ongoing development aligns with our mission to bring ALLDATA’s
market leadership to Europe by providing the most comprehensive
source of original manufacture information and the highest level of
professional support to workshops,” said Satwinder Mangat
President, ALLDATA. “With more than 115,000 subscribers worldwide
performing heavy diagnostic and repair work every day, we remain
committed to staying at the forefront of technical solutions that
enhance the sustainability of the mechanical and collision
industries.”
ALLDATA will be showing the new enhancements in ALLDATA Repair
during live demos and daily Tech Talks at Automechanika Frankfurt,
September 11 – 15, 2018. Visit the ALLDATA booth in Hall 9.1/Booth
