Conservancy announced BBVA Compass as its lead corporate partner in
the Waller Creek Park Community Program today.
The ambitious Waller Creek Park project, which stretches from
Lady Bird Lake to 15th Street,
includes 35 acres of new and redeveloped parkland, more than three
miles of pedestrian and bicycle trails, and the ecological
restoration of lower Waller Creek. Waller Creek Park is being
implemented through an innovative public-private partnership
between the City of Austin and
Waller Creek Conservancy, a non-profit organization founded in
2010.
BBVA Compass, a top 25 U.S. financial institution, will lend
support for the programs that will take place at the future Moody
Amphitheater in Waterloo Park. In addition to being a sponsor, the
bank will also team with the conservancy as its community partner
to create opportunities through charitable initiatives.

at the new, outdoor Moody Amphitheater, including a five-part
community concert series, pop-up events, and an annual benefit
designed to raise funds for programs and park maintenance. To kick

held on October 10, 2018, at Stubb's
Waller Creek Amphitheater.
