Sprint (S) said Tuesday it is working with LG Electronics USA to deliver a mobile 5G smartphone in the U.S. in the first half of 2019.

Telecommunications company Sprint said it will release information regarding device specifications, additional devices designed for the 5G network, and timing at a later date.

Sprint recently said it plans to launch its 5G mobile network in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.

Shares of Sprint were up 0.8% at $6.12 Tuesday. The stock is up 4% this year.
