Corp. (NYSE: EV) today announced the election of Paula A. Johnson, M.D., M.P.H., to its Board of
Directors, effective October 1,
2018. She is President and Professor of Women's Health
Studies at Wellesley College.
Upon joining the Eaton Vance Board, she will become the sixth
Independent Director.

Paula A. Johnson was inaugurated
as the 14th President of Wellesley
College on September 30,
2016. Before coming to Wellesley, President Johnson founded and
served as executive director of the Connors Center for Women's
Health and Gender Biology and chief of the Division of Women's
Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. A cardiologist, President Johnson was
the Grayce A. Young Family Professor of Medicine in Women's Health
at Harvard Medical School and professor
of epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the
National Academy of Medicine and recipient of the Stephen Smith
Medal for Distinguished Contributions in Public Health awarded by
the New York Academy of Medicine.
President Johnson earned a doctor of medicine (M.D.) from
Harvard Medical School, a master of
public health (M.P.H.) from Harvard School of
Public Health and a bachelor of arts, cum laude, from
Harvard Radcliffe Colleges. She is also the recipient of several
honorary degrees.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of West Pharmaceutical
Services, Inc. and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.
