On May 25, 2018, Mercer International Inc. (the
“Company”) announced that it has applied to voluntarily delist its common stock from the Toronto Stock Exchange (the “TSX”). Effective at the close of markets on June 11, 2018, the Company’s shares will no longer be
traded on the TSX. The delisting will not affect the Company’s listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market.
