winner at the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Sales &
Customer Service in Las Vegas, in
recognition of the quantity and quality of the company's
submissions. Grand Stevie trophies are awarded for the Best of the
Awards, and are given to companies that submit the best body of
work to the competition. More than 2,500 nominations were submitted
in this year's Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
At the awards ceremony, John
Hancock also received the 2018 People's Choice Stevie® for
Favorite Customer Service in Financial Services companies with more
than 100 employees. Voting in this category was conducted from
January 19 through February 9, with
the highest number of votes deciding the winners in 13 industry
categories. More than 124,000 votes were cast this year.
In all, John Hancock received 18
awards in addition to the Grand Stevie: 2 Golds, 5 Silver and
10 Bronze, and the People's Choice award.
John Hancock was named a Gold
Stevie winner in the New Product & Service Category for a
Collaboration Solution involving a month-long corporate lab
initiative in which the company's broker dealer Signator developed
an onboarding approach for new and experienced advisors; and in the
Customer Service & Contact Center Team Category for a customer
service team of the year in a recovery situation when John Hancock
Signature Services maintained high customer service ratings through
a reorganization of its customer service centers.

achievements, ranging from Senior Sales Executive of the Year to
Sales Training or Business Development Executive of the Year to
Sales Department of the Year; and categories to recognize new
