Item 8.01 Other Events

On March 19, 2018, International Bancshares Corporation (“IBC”) issued a news release announcing that on March 16, 2018, its Board of Directors approved the declaration of a thirty-three (.33) cents per share cash dividend for all holders of Common Stock, $1.00 par value, of record on April 2, 2018. The dividend will be payable on April 16, 2018.

The news release, attached hereto and filed herewith as Exhibit 99, is incorporated herein by reference.
