Explanation of Responses:
(1)  Represents shares of common stock underlying restricted stock units granted to the reporting person under the Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. 2008 Equity Incentive Plan. In accordance with our vesting into retirement policy, 25% of the award vests on each of February 13, 2019 and February 13, 2020 and the balance vests on April 19, 2020. Notwithstanding the foregoing vesting schedule, the shares vesting on April 19, 2020 will be subject to restrictions on transferability through the fourth anniversary of the grant date.
(2)  Granted in consideration for service as an officer of the issuer.
