Voya ranks as one of the most admired companies in securities and asset management

Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA), announced today that it has been named to Fortune’s 2018 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. Voya was ranked as one of the most admired companies on the magazine’s list of securities and asset management companies. This year marks the first time that Voya was eligible for and appeared on the list.

“Being named a World’s Most Admired Company by Fortune — especially in our first year of eligibility — is an exciting recognition and one that all of us at Voya are very proud to have earned,” said Rodney O. Martin, Jr., chairman and CEO, Voya Financial, Inc. “This honor is a testament to our culture, the character of our brand and all of the great work that our people have done for our customers, shareholders and distribution partners over the past several years. Since becoming a standalone company in 2013, we have successfully improved Voya’s financial profile, expanded our client offerings, established a high-performance culture, and advanced the profile of our new brand.”

Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list is the definitive report card on corporate reputation, and is developed by Fortune and Korn Ferry Hay Group. The study surveys top executives and directors from eligible companies, along with financial analysts, to rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. A company’s score must rank in the top half of its industry survey to be listed.

The complete list appears in the February issue of the magazine, which will be available on newsstands on Jan. 22. To learn more about Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list, please visit fortune.com/worlds-most-admired-companies.
