has earned URAC's specialty pharmacy accreditation at its primary
dispensing locations: Warrendale,
Pa., New Castle, Del.,
Indianapolis, Ind., Orlando, Fla., Memphis, Tenn., Greensboro, N.C., Nashville, Tenn., and Corona, Calif.
In addition, Express Scripts Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, located
in Byfield, Mass., gained renewal
of URAC's specialty pharmacy accreditation.
URAC is a Washington D.C.-based
independent accreditor of health care management organizations. To
earn its specialty pharmacy accreditation, pharmacies must pass
rigorous performance measures, which include meeting accuracy and
turnaround time of dispensed prescriptions, having policies and
procedures that ensure adherence to drug safety protocols, and
maintaining a patient-centered strategy for its patient management
program.
