Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On November 30, 2017, Gulf Resources, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing notification from the People’s Government of Yangkou Town, Shouguang City that the Company will be required to relocate the chemical factories of its subsidiary, Shouguang Yuxin Chemical Industry Co., Limited, to a newly designated chemical industrial park as part of the rectification and improvement in order to meet the new safety production and environmental rules in China.

 

A copy of the press release, the letter from the local Chinese government to Shouguang Yuxin Chemical Industry Co., Limited and an English translation of the letter are furnished as Exhibits 99.1, 99.2 and 99.3 hereto.
