Distribution and Offtake Agreement

Cleantech Building Materials plc ("CBM" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that CBM's subsidiary, Diamond Wood China Limited ("Diamond Wood"), has entered into a Distribution and Offtake Agreement with the Xinli Group of China ("Xinli") ("Agreement"). Under the terms of the Agreement Xinli has committed to purchase a significant volume of Accoya^® wood from Diamond Wood to be used exclusively for the production of wooden doors in the China region. The initial duration of the agreement is for three years.

Diamond Wood benefits from exclusive rights to manufacture and sell Accoya^® wood in China and the ASEAN countries, through its technology licence agreement with Titan Wood Limited, a subsidiary of Accsys Technologies plc. Based in Zhejiang province south of Shanghai, Xinli is the leading door manufacturer in China with an annual production of over 150,000 doors, and an expanding national commercial organisation.

Commenting, Jason Wang, CEO of CBM and Diamond Wood, said "We are pleased to partner with Xinli on this important segment in the Chinese market. In Asia there is an increasing awareness of the Accoya^® wood brand, and its applications for flooring, decking, siding, outdoor furniture, windows and doors. Diamond Wood expects to enter into similar distribution and offtake agreements in other application segments and other countries in the coming year."

Commenting, Paul Richards, Chairman of CBM, said "Since our acquisition of Diamond Wood and its subsidiaries last year through a share for share exchange transaction under which the Company now holds 97.44 per cent of the issued share capital of Diamond Wood, the Company continues to make notable headway in preparing the build out of its own Accoya^® wood factory in China. With the recent Xinli distribution and offtake agreement, Diamond Wood continues to expand its pipeline with a view to placing out the future manufacturing volumes, and we are extremely pleased with this progress."
