Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 16, 2017, Robert Hadfield resigned as General Counsel of Flex Pharma, Inc. (the “Company”), effective November 29, 2017, to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Hadfield will remain an advisor to the Company for up to three months following the termination of his employment.
