The 2018 CEI rated more than 5,000 businesses and evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, full parity partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, educational programs and public engagement to support the LGBTQ community.

Navient’s efforts to satisfy all CEI criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
