California Water Service Group Joins Celebration of Navy’s 242nd Birthday and Dedication of Lone Sailor Statue

California Water Service Group’s President and Chief Executive
Officer Martin A. Kropelnicki helped celebrate the Navy’s 242nd
birthday today at the Pearl Harbor dedication of the Lone Sailor
Statue, which honors, recognizes, and celebrates the men and women
of the sea services. California Water Service Group (NYSE:CWT) is
the parent company of Hawaii Water Service, which provides water
and wastewater utility services on the islands of Maui and Hawaii.
“We supported the effort to erect the Lone Statue here because
we believe it is important to honor the brave men and women who
made the ultimate sacrifice for our country on December 7, 1941,”
Kropelnicki said. “History is an important part of our
culture, and it was a pleasure to be here today to see the Lone
Sailor Statue dedicated.”
Joining Kropelnicki at the dedication ceremony were several of
his fellow employees who are also veterans of the United States
military.
