COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah,
Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/
-- Dynatronics Corporation (NASDAQ:DYNT) today announced the
consolidation of its Livermore
distribution facility into its Cottonwood
Heights, Utah location, which will become the company's
primary distribution center for the western United States.
Over the last several months Dynatronics has expanded its
distribution capabilities at its headquarters facility in
Utah. In association with this transition, Dynatronics will
be transitioning all distribution functions to Utah from its facility in Livermore, CA. The lease on the
Livermore facility will expire
December 2017, with no penalty to the
Company. With this simplified footprint, Dynatronics expects
to provide the same level of service to Western states customers at
a lower cost.
Jeff Gephart, Senior VP of Sales
at Dynatronics, stated, "We are looking forward to continuing to
provide the high quality service to our Western states customers
through our Utah facility that we
have provided through the Livermore distribution facility. All
customers serviced from the California facility should still remain within
a one to two-day delivery time."
According to Cyndi McHenry,
Dynatronics's VP of Operations, "We initiated this transition
several months ago and have successfully completed the move.
We are pleased with how seamlessly we have been able to make the
transition. In the last year, we have sharpened our focus on
finding better ways to meet our customer's needs, while reducing
overhead. By consolidating our two sites, we reduce
distribution costs by more than one hundred thousand dollars per
year. By better utilizing our facility in Utah, we have been able to simplify our
operations while providing the same high level of service."
Dynatronics manufactures, markets, and distributes
advanced-technology therapeutic devices, medical and athletic
training treatment tables, rehabilitation equipment, institutional
cabinetry, orthopedic soft goods, and specialty patient care
products and supplies. Through its various distribution
channels, the company markets and sells its products to physical
therapists, chiropractors, orthopedists, athletic trainers, sports
medicine practitioners, and other medical professionals and
institutions. More information is available at
