SÃO PAULO, Oct. 6, 2017
/PRNewswire/ -- Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de
São Paulo - Sabesp ("Company" or "Sabesp"), pursuant to the
provisions of Article 157, Paragraph 4 of Law No. 6.404/76 and the
provisions of CVM Instruction No. 358/02, hereby informs its
shareholders and the market in general that on October 06, 2017, the São Paulo State Energy and
Sanitation Regulatory Agency (ARSESP) published a Final Technical
Note (Nota Técnica Final NT/F/004/2017) and a Detailed Report for
the Initial Stage of Sabesp's 2nd Ordinary Tariff Revision,
authorizing the Company to apply a tariff repositioning index of
7.8888% to its current tariffs.
ARSESP also approved the Resolution with the new tariff charts,
which will be published in the São Paulo State Official Gazette
(Diário Oficial do Estado de São Paulo) on October 10, 2017 and will become effective 30
days after its publication.
