HOUSTON, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dickinson
Independent School District will receive $75,000 in Tanger Outlets gift cards for victims
of Hurricane Harvey through its TangerCARES program. The gift cards
will go directly to the students and staff of Dickinson ISD, a
school district in great need near Tanger Outlets Houston. The
identified teachers and students will each receive a $100 Tanger Outlets gift card to replace clothing
and back to school items lost in the storm.
"Our hearts and prayers go out to all those impacted by
Hurricane Harvey," said Steve
Tanger, Chief Executive Officer of Tanger Outlets. "We feel
very fortunate to be able to lend a hand to our Houston neighbors in their time of need and
are honored to help rebuild this amazing community."
Join the Cause! Tanger Outlets is also offering shoppers the

by the storm. Through the month of October, shoppers can purchase a
$10 TexasStrong shopping card which
provides shoppers with 25% off any item at participating stores,
once per day, per store with unlimited use through October 31, 2017. 100% of the TexasStrong savings

"Dickinson ISD is overwhelmed at the outpouring of support we
have received from people like Tanger Outlets," said Vicki Mims, Superintendent of Dickinson ISD.
"The $75,000 donation is extremely
generous and will go a long way to getting our students and
employees on the road to recovery from the devastating floods. It
is an amazing gesture of support from our neighbors at Tanger
Outlets."
Dickinson ISD worked to identify hundreds of their most severely
impacted students and teachers, who are invited to the shopping
center on two upcoming dates for shopping and storm reprieve.
Dickinson ISD, Tanger Outlets, and select retailers will be working
together during these events to provide much-needed funds and
gifts.
"Tanger Outlets is honored to fulfill a true need in our
