Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG), now offers a mobile app to enable
Medicaid members in South Carolina
to conveniently access their health plan benefits with the touch of
a button.
The MyWellCare™ app is free and can be used by WellCare Medicaid
members to:
- Find a provider;
- Locate nearby urgent care clinics or hospitals;
- Access "Wellness Services," a secure feature that reminds
members about needed preventive health screenings, such as
mammograms or eye exams;
- Display WellCare Member ID cards or send them electronically to
providers; and
- Receive timely member updates, such as an annual flu shot
reminder.

our members to easily manage their care, whether it's locating a

The MyWellCare™ app is available to iPhone® and
Android® smartphone users via the device's mobile app
store. It is also available in Spanish.
Members can call the customer service number on the back of
their ID cards if they have questions about the app or need
assistance downloading it.
As of June 30, 2017, WellCare
serves approximately 86,000 Medicaid members, 12,000 Medicare
Prescription Drug Plan members and 8,000 Medicare Advantage members
in South Carolina.
