Petrobras Restarting Texas Refinery After Harvey
September 20 2017 - 9:09AM
Dow Jones News
Brazil's Petroleo Brasileiro SA said it was restarting its
refinery near Houston Wednesday following severe weather after
Hurricane Harvey hit more than three weeks ago.
"Planned startup after severe weather," the refinery said in a
statement to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, adding
the startup was beginning Wednesday and would be completed by
Friday.
Petrobras' 112,000-barrel-a-day refinery, located 13 miles
southeast of downtown Houston in an area called Pasadena, joined
many other refineries near the Texas coast in shutting operations
in late August due to Harvey.
