On September 11, 2017, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (Hewlett
Packard Enterprise) announced that it commenced an offering of senior unsecured notes (the Notes Offering) to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the Securities
Act), and to certain non-U.S. persons in accordance with Regulation S under the Securities Act. A copy of the press release announcing the Notes Offering, and which describes the Notes Offering in greater detail, is hereby incorporated by
reference and attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
