Item 8.01 Other Events

On September 6, 2017, Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its anticipated catastrophe losses as a result of damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, which made landfall in Texas on Friday, August 25, 2017, as a Category 4 hurricane. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
