Item 1. Issuance of Press Release

On September 5, 2017, Forward Pharma A/S (the “Company”) announced the filing in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit of the opening brief for the appeal of the PTAB decision that ended the interference proceeding between the Company’s 11/576,871 patent application and an issued Biogen patent.

The Company has filed as an exhibit to this Form 6-K a press release dated September 5, 2017, announcing the filing of the opening brief.
