Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

(b) On August 22, 2017, Kevin G. Rogers resigned as a director of FBL Financial Group, Inc. (the "Company") effective November 4, 2017. Mr. Rogers currently serves as President of the Arizona Farm Bureau Federation. He does not intend to seek re-election to that office at the Arizona Farm Bureau Federation's annual meeting to be held in November 2017, and as a result, he would thereafter be ineligible to serve as a Class B Director of the Company.
