Shares of CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ:CORE) gained 3.2% on Thursday after the company unveiled its role as the first cloud provider to roll out NVIDIA’s (NASDAQ:NVDA) groundbreaking GB300 NVL72 AI system—marking a major leap in generative AI infrastructure.

The GB300 NVL72 platform represents a significant step forward in AI processing, offering up to 10 times faster response times and 5 times better energy efficiency compared to NVIDIA’s previous Hopper-based models. According to CoreWeave, these improvements can lead to up to 50 times higher inference output for reasoning models.

This next-gen system is powered by NVIDIA’s Blackwell Ultra GPUs, which deliver 1.5 times more AI compute performance than their standard counterparts. It also features expanded high-bandwidth memory (HBM3e) with a massive 21 terabytes of GPU memory per rack and is integrated with fifth-generation NVIDIA NVLink, achieving up to 130 terabytes per second of bandwidth across the rack.

CoreWeave has tailored its AI cloud infrastructure to fully support the GB300 NVL72, enhancing services like Kubernetes orchestration, Slurm on Kubernetes, and introducing new management tools such as Cabinet Wrangler and the Cabinet Details dashboard for granular rack-level monitoring.

This advanced deployment was made possible through collaboration with Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL), Switch, and Vertiv—underscoring CoreWeave’s ability to bring high-performance AI infrastructure to market quickly.

Naeem Talukdar, CEO and co-founder of Moonvalley, commented on the breakthrough: “CoreWeave’s rollout of the GB300 is a game changer. Their infrastructure makes AI-powered filmmaking and media production an emerging reality.”

Earlier this year, CoreWeave reported benchmark data showing its GB200-based instances outperformed NVIDIA’s H100 setups by nearly threefold in inference workloads, reflecting its continued focus on AI performance optimization.
