Loonie Rises Following Canada Retail Sales

(RTTNews) - At 8:30 am ET Friday, Statistics Canada has released Canada retail sales for December.
Following the data, the loonie rose against its major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 83.81 against the yen, 0.9410 against the aussie, 1.4965 against the euro and 1.3211 against the greenback around 8:33 am ET.
