Upcoming Virtue Poker IDO

Existing cryptocurrency and blockchain projects need to keep pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve. Virtue Poker, a platform known for playing provably fair poker on the blockchain that recently closed a $5m funding round, aims to offer a portion of its VPP tokens to investors through an IDO. The ConsenSys-backed platform will do so with the help of SuperFarm and it’s SuperStarter launchpad. Additionally, there is a plan to integrate NFTs into Virtue Poker later on.

Since its initial development in 2016, Virtue Poker has noted multiple successful investment rounds. Investors include Pantera Capital, ConsenSys, Fenbushi Capital, and other backers. Its latest private sale took place in April 2021 and helped the team raise $5 million with the help of Flurry Capital, JRR, and others. There is a great interest in playing provably fair poker on the blockchain.

Organizing an Initial Dex Offering marks a crucial milestone for the project. Selling a small portion of VPP tokens via the SuperStarter platform allows SuperFarm’s community to access this token. Holders can stake the token to run Justice Nodes and earn 50% of the fees generated by Virtue Poker’s platform. It also has utility for marketing initiatives, saving on fees, and governance purposes.

The Versatility Of SuperFarm

While many people are familiar with SuperFarm as a platform for NFT and fungible token yield farming, the team intends to explore further business opportunities. Its new token launchpad, called SuperFarm,  aims to let projects conduct private presales and Initial DEX Offerings. All of these features are provided with compliance and security in mind.

SuperFarm Founder Elliot Wainmann adds:

“We’re excited to be helping spread NFT adoption to new types of ecosystems and use cases. Virtue Poker makes for an excellent partner for our recently introduced SuperStarter platform, showcasing its enormous benefits to the SuperFarm community and the high caliber of projects wishing to integrate NFTs in their stack.”

Not only will SuperStarter help projects raise funding, but the platform also focuses on marketing, development, and generalized advisory. Features and services like these have been in high demand in the cryptocurrency space for years now. Providing them through a decentralized vetting approach ensures the council will approve only worthwhile projects of analysts.

Closing Thoughts

The growing popularity of provably fair poker allows service providers to explore slightly different avenues from normal. Bringing a native token to more users to grow the community and incentivizing governance is one approach to look into. Virtue Poker takes a bold leap by hosting its upcoming IDO on the SuperStarter platform. but it also shows the appeal of integrating NFTs into the poker platform.

When big industry segments come together in a meaningful way to create something entirely new, there is a reason for cautious optimism. Combining provably fair poker with NFTs and an IDO highlights the potential and versatility of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. An exciting future lies ahead if this venture proves to be successful.
