Commuting to your workplace can be quite a banal task. However, with a little knowhow you can change all that and make it feel worthwhile. Here are some good tips.

A recent study revealed that train commuters have better moods and are definitely less stressed compared to those who drive to the office. In fact, public transportation can be more reliable than driving your own vehicle if you live in a city with a lot of traffic. Taking the train means you spend significantly less time commuting to work and commuting time is adversely related to your stress levels and overall health and well-being.

 

  1. Get Your Own Entertainment

You can use the train commute time to prepare your brain for work. Instead of going through Instagram or Facebook, you can use a puzzle or book to warm up for work. Many enjoy a game of real money 3 card poker on the way home.

 

  1. Find Your Zen

You can meditate while commuting to work by train. Place your feet on the ground, close the eyes, and start breathing deeply. This can be a great way to become centered before a crazy workday.   1. Turn Off Technology

Unless you are expecting an urgent call, keep your mobile device aside. Why start your work early when you can enjoy the train journey while commuting to work? Some train networks have quiet cars where riders will be asked to avoid talking to each other, chatting on mobile devices, and listening to loud music.

 

  1. Snooze While Commuting

There is no reason why you shouldn’t take a nap while riding the train. But you should ask someone to watch your destination. Nodding off for a few minutes will help you feel refreshed and be more productive. Make sure you have secured the belongings before you decide to snooze.

Obviously, if you decide to take a more active approach to travelling to work, then cycling or walking is a far more logical and physical way to do so. Getting exercise, via a means like this can have notable benefits for you in the morning and is often faster, depending on where you’re travelling from and to. It can also help you increase your exercise and in turn your wellbeing for the day.
