Solgar Announces Partnerships With Professional Footballing Family The James’ And European Tour Golfer Matt Wallace

Solgar® Vitamins and Supplements brand today announces three partnerships with three of the country’s brightest sporting professionals, Chelsea FC footballer Reece James and his sister Manchester United Women’s player Lauren James; and professional golfer, Matt Wallace.

With further exciting partnership announcements yet to be made – this like-minded union will see English Four-time European Tour winner Matt Wallace carry the Solgar logo on his left sleeve, in addition to representing the brand across a number of exciting projects which will be revealed nearer the time.

Comfortably ranked as one of the world’s top golfers, Matt is consistently setting the gold standard within his field. The Solgar sleeve logo will make its global debut when Matt plays at the PGA Tour in America next month now that golf is one of the first sports that has been allowed to resume, following some of the recent COVID-19 easings.

The other sporting high achiever is Reece James who signed a new five-year contract extension with Chelsea in January and has been with the club from the age of six as part of its development programme and then its Under-18 team. James became Chelsea’s youngest ever goal scorer in the Champions League when he scored the fourth goal of their 4–4 comeback draw with Ajax on 5 November 2019.

Joining Reece as part of a family partnership deal is his younger sister Lauren James who also plays professional football. The midfielder has played for Manchester W.F.C. since 2018, having joined from Arsenal, where she became the second-youngest player in the club’s history in October 2017. In addition, the siblings are joined by their father Nigel James. Ex-footballer Nigel has also worked as a football talent scout and is now the Academy Director of the Nigel James Elite Coaching Academy, where he coaches the nation’s next generation of teenage future footballing stars.
