BP PLC (BP.LN) said Friday that Tufan Erginbilgic, chief executive of the company's downstream segment, will step down at the end of March 2020.

The U.K. oil major said Mr. Erginbilgic has been downstream chief executive and a member of the company's executive team since 2014.

The company said it will announce Mr. Erginbilgic's successor separately.
