--Volkswagen Chief Financial Officer Frank Witter will leave the German car maker in the summer of 2021, German business magazine Manager Magazin reports.

--Mr. Witter rejected a new five-year contract due to personal reasons and will only extend his mandate by nine months, according to the magazine.

--Volkswagen wasn't immediately available for comment.
