United American Healthcare Corp. (PN) Company Description
United American Healthcare Corporation (the "Company" or "UAHC") was incorporated in Michigan on December 1, 1983 and commenced operations in May 1985. On August 1, 2014, the Company converted from a Michigan corporation into a Nevada corporation. From November 1993 to June 2009, through a wholly owned subsidiary, UAHC Health Plan of Tennessee, Inc. ("UAHC-TN"), the Company was a managed care organization in the TennCare program, a State of Tennessee program that provided medical benefits to Medicaid and working uninsured recipients. From January 2007 to December 2009, UAHC-TN served as a Medicare Advantage qualified organization pursuant to a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The Company no longer provides these services and the UAHC-TN entity was legally dissolved on March 27, 2015. Commencing on June 18, 2010 and to date UAHC, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pulse Systems, LLC., provides contract manufacturing services to the medical device industry, with a focus on precision laser-cutting capabilities and the processing of thin-wall tubular metal components, sub-assemblies and implants, primarily in the cardiovascular market.
