--The European Commission has closed deals with pharmaceutical companies Roche and Merck KGaA for the supply of experimental Covid-19 drugs in any European member state, Reuters reports, citing an unnamed source.

--The drugs that will be supplied are Roche's RoActemra, a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, and Merck's Rebif, an anti-inflammatory drug, Reuters reports.
