Nestle's Purina to Invest $140 Million in Iowa Pet-Food Plant Expansion

Nestle SA's Nestle Purina unit on Friday said it will invest
$140 million to expand its Clinton, Iowa, factory to meet rising
demand for dog and cat food.
Purina, which currently employs 360 people in Clinton, said it
will add new processing and packaging lines for the production of
kibble-based pet foods, creating more than 60 new jobs.
Purina also operates pet-food factories in Fort Dodge and
Davenport and employs roughly 1,000 people in Iowa.
