Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On March 20, 2020, Michael Mona III tendered his resignation as a member of the Board of Directors of CV Sciences, Inc. (the "Company"), and the Company on that date accepted his resignation. Mr. Mona III's decision to resign was not the result of any disagreement with the Company.
Mr. Mona III served as a director of the Company since 2016.
