Centrica Names Charles Berry as Next Chairman

British Gas-owner Centrica PLC (CNA.LN) has named Charles Berry
as a director and chairman-designate, in line to replace Rick
Haythornthwaite next year.
The FTSE 100 utilities company said Mr. Berry will become
chairman on Feb. 21.
Mr. Berry is also chairman of engineering company Weir Group PLC
(WEIR.LN). He previously held a number of executive roles at
Scottish Power.
Centrica owns the Direct Energy brand in the U.S. and Canada, as
well as business-to-business and commodities trading
operations.
