Bayer Appoints Head of Business Development and Licensing in Pharmaceuticals Division

Bayer AG (BAYN.XE) said Tuesday that it has appointed Marianne
De Backer in a newly created position as head of business
development and licensing in its pharmaceuticals division.
Ms. De Backer also joins the pharmaceuticals executive committee
with immediate effect, the German pharmaceutical and chemical
company said.
Ms. De Backer comes from Johnson & Johnson, where she led
business development activities across different therapeutic areas
and geographies, Bayer said.
