A consortium comprising Alstom SA (ALO.FR) and Bombardier Inc. (BBD.B.T) has received a 299 million euros ($338.7 million) order to supply 153 metro cars to Montreal's subway system, Alstom said Monday.

Bombardier's share of the order is valued at about EUR188 million, while Alstom's is valued at around EUR112 million, Alstom said.

Most of the manufacturing and all final assembly will be undertaken at Bombardier's facility in La Pocatiere, Quebec.

The order will involve several hundred suppliers across Quebec, Alstom said.
