-- The US-based buyout group failed to reach agreement on price or the potential costs of a long-running equal-pay dispute, Financial Time says, citing a person briefed on the matter.

--Private-equity group Apollo remains in the running to buy Asda at an expected valuation of 6.5 billion pounds ($8.28 billion), according to the FT.
