French energy giant Total SA said Monday that it will provide health-care workers in France with vouchers for gasoline worth up to 50 million euros ($53.5 million).

The company said the vouchers will allow health-care employees to make necessary travel arrangements as they work to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Total said its foundation will also contribute EUR5 million to the Pasteur Institute, which is working to develop a vaccine, and to hospital and health associations involved in the fight against Covid-19.
