Thomson Reuters Buys Events-Specialist FC Business Intelligence

Thomson Reuters Corp. (TRI) said Friday it has acquired FC
Business Intelligence, a global business-to-business events
specialist, from U.K. private equity business LDC, an arm of Lloyds
Banking Group (LYG).
Thomson Reuters said FC Business Intelligence, which delivers
high-end conferences and exhibitions to diverse sectors, will be
rebranded Reuters Events and will be operated as part of the
Reuters News division of Thomson Reuters. Terms of the transaction
were not disclosed.
LDC bought FC Business in August 2018.
