Telefonica SA (TEF.MC) appointed four senior executives to the management team of its new Telefonica Tech unit, the Spanish telecommunications company said on Monday.

In November, Telefonica said it would reorganize its business by creating two new units, Telefonica Tech and Telefonica Infra, and unify its businesses in Latin America.

On Monday, it said it had appointed Antonio Marti, former corporate development director in the strategy team, as chief operating officer to manage Telefonica Tech's three businesses, namely security, IoT/big data and cloud.

Hugo de los Santos, former director of product and services for corporate customers, will now be head of cloud, the company said. Gonzalo Martin-Villa will lead IoT/Big Data, and Pedro Pablo Perez will head the security business, the company said.

All four will report to Jose Cerdan, Telefonica Tech's chief executive.
